(29 September 2021) — David Bollesen has been named the new Chief Product Officer (CPO) of Ainsworth Game Technology (ASX: AGI), starting October 7, 2021.
Bollesen has a renowned experience in the digital entertainment business spanning more than 25 years, and he will lead Ainsworth’s worldwide Game Development teams.
He most recently worked at IGT for almost 11 years, most recently as Vice President of Game Studios at the company’s Australia headquarters. Bollesen worked for IGT in Reno, Nevada, for many years before relocating to Australia.
“We are looking forward to having David on board to bring the next generation of Ainsworth products to market,” said Ainsworth Chairman Danny Gladstone.
Bollesen has successfully led and worked on a number of video games and slot machine items. He will be based in Ainsworth’s Sydney headquarters and will be in charge of expanding the company’s gaming studios and increasing game performance and market share across all regions.
“I am certain that developers and operators must actively pursue new features and technologies while maintaining a strong understanding of the fundamental concepts,” Bollesen added. “I believe in the Ainsworth brand’s strength, and with the proper tactics in place, we can expand on the foundations by knowing what core gamers want from their gaming experience.”
