Congratulations to the winner of Canada’s CA$70-Million lottery jackpot! The grand prize was split between two lucky players and it turns out that one of them is a BC resident.
The “b.c. lottery winners 2021” is the name of a man who won $70 million in the b.c. lottery draw on December 2, 2020. The winner was revealed after he bought a ticket at a store in Kamloops, where he lives with his wife and two children.
After collecting her CA$70 million check last week, Christine Lauzon was unveiled as the next Canadian lotto billionaire. The winner of British Columbia’s greatest lottery prize confesses that she had always dreamt of winning the lottery, but that she never anticipated it to happen. Her aspirations have finally come true thanks to Lotto Max.
Lotto Max is a weekly lottery game featuring rounds on Tuesdays and Fridays that is quite popular among lottery players in Canada. Tickets for the draw-based offering may be bought at retail locations around the province or online at the Crown agency’s official platform PlayNow.com. The game’s jackpot may exceed CA$70,000,000, with numerous Maxmillion awards up for grabs.
Awarded a prize
Mr. Lauzon gave some specifics regarding her wins after coming at a BCLC office to receive her life-changing windfall. She purchased her ticket at the Shopper Drug Mart on Hastings Street in Burnaby, where she picked her numbers using the Quick Pick option. She found her win after the draw by verifying her ticket with the Crown’s Lotto! app and was eager to inform her friends and family.
When she found out she was the winner of the CA$70,000,000 reward, she told her roommate and father, who couldn’t maintain a straight face when they heard the news, according to her. Ms. Lauzon also admits that she is both scared and enthusiastic about the upcoming event. She will never forget the Lotto Max draw on September 28.
Ms. Lauzon admits that receiving such a large reward is weird, but her first order of business was to call her financial counselor. She now intends to donate a part of the prize money to her immediate family, and she says she has a few ideas that are near to her heart before selecting how she would use the money.
Lotto Max is still alive and well.
On a more recent note, the CA$14 million Lotto Max prize went unclaimed last week. No ticket from Canada matched the winning numbers from the Friday, October 22 draw, according to the Canadian lotteries. The jackpot has now risen to a whopping CA$19 million, and participants may try their luck on Tuesday, October 26, 2021.
Winner: West Vancouver
Also, the BCLC announced last week that the province had won another significant lottery prize, this time in the Lotto 6/49 game. According to the lottery office, a West Vancouver ticket holder has won CA$10.2 million after matching the winning numbers in the Lotto 6/49 draw on October 20. 06, 09, 34, 35, 48, and 49 are the winning numbers. The fortunate winner has up to 52 weeks to receive his or her reward.
Another Winner Has Been Announced
Furthermore, the BCLC disclosed the name of another Lotto 6/49 winner from the province. Thanks winning her Lotto 6/49 ticket, Juanita Parnell of Prince Rupert is now worth CA$5,790,419.90. Ms. Parnell’s long-time lottery numbers of 7, 18, 19, 38, 42, and 46 have finally paid off, and she hopes to use the money to take her grandkids to Disney World.
