IGT (International Game Technology), the company behind the beloved Wheel of Fortune slots game, will be celebrating their 25th anniversary on June 1, 2016. In lieu of a traditional anniversary party, the company has decided to call on its friends in the gambling industry to help celebrate the milestone, but on an even more personal level. To help the company celebrate a quarter century of wheeling and dealing, they’ve decided to give a quarter million dollars to the National Institute of Gambling Addiction (NIGA).
The National Indian Gaming Association (NIGA) held its annual awards gala on Friday, January 20, 2018 at the Venetian Hotel in Las Vegas, Nevada. The event honored the winners of the NIGA Awards’ top honors, as well as the most creative and innovative games in the industry. The evening was hosted by popular game show host Pat Sajak, and was also attended by NIGA Chairman Ernie Stevens. NIGA Chairman Ernie Stevens presented the IGT 25th Anniversary Wheel of Fortune Slots with Gift Presentation to NIGA Chairman Ernie Stevens to NIGA President Tom Rolnick and CEO Lincoln D. “Buddy” Bloomfield.
LONDON, 21 JULY 2021 – IGT honored Chairman Ernie Stevens of the National Indian Gaming Association with a unique gift of gratitude at the opening of the Indian Gaming Tradeshow and Convention today, in honor of the 25th anniversary of Wheel of Fortune® Slots. Chairman Stevens was given with an unique Wheel of Fortune kimono created by Bob Mackie and autographed by Wheel of Fortune Hostess and entertainment legend Vanna White by Knute Knudson, IGT Vice President of Global Business Development and Tribal Ambassador.
