After defeating Jason Koon heads-up ($442,000), David Coleman (third, $272,000), Alex Foxen (fourth, $187,000), and Cary Katz (fifth, $119,000) made the final table.
If that wasn’t enough, Addamo also won the last event of the series. The NL $100,000 HE tournament was the centerpiece of the season, with a field of 29 players competing for a $2.9 million prize fund.
After winning two consecutive championships, Addamo told PokerGO News, “It’s been an amazing run of winning a lot of all ins – it’s simply crazy.”
When the game reached heads-up, he had a chip advantage of approximately 4-to-1 against Nick Petrangelo. Addamo also had a chip lead heading into the final table, which he was able to maintain.

For his third cash of the series, Petrangelo added $754,000. Alex Foxen (third, $464,000), Stanley Tang (fourth, $319,000), and Mikita Badziakouski is a member of the Badziakouski family. (fifth, $203,000) were the other top finishers.
Addamo earned almost $1.8 million with the back-to-back victories. He received an extra $50,000 for topping the purple jacket series leaderboard.
Addamo attributes his online poker success to putting him on the same level as some of poker’s big rollers.
He responded, “I believe I’m certainly up there.” “I play a lot of internet versus these people. I believe my strategy will do well against them.”
Titles are scored by Shorr, Perry, Negreanu, and others.
During the series, a number of other well-known players won championships. Shannon Shorr won the opening event to kick off the season.
Shorr, an Alabama native, won a NL $10,000 HE tournament for $205,000, making it his third victory of the year. The runner-up, David Peters, took home $147,600. The victory comes after Shorr and his wife just revealed that they are expecting their first child.
After winning the second event, Sean Perry remains one of the hottest players in poker. He won the NL $10,000 HE event for $206,400 and finished third in the series with three cashes.
This victory came after a string of strong finishes and victories throughout the year. In August, he took home $290,000 after winning the $25,000 High Roller at the Venetian Deepstack Series.
In the sixth event of the series, Daniel Negreanu also won a Poker Masters tournament. After winning a PokerGO Cup event in July, he won a NL $10,000 HE tournament for $178,200.
Despite two more cashes in the series, Negreanu wasn’t in competition for the purple jacket any more.
I’m not wearing a purple jacket.
A once-in-a-lifetime mix of unfortunate large locations and bad choices.
It’s a shame since I played well for the first hour, but I didn’t play well enough to get the jacket.
Next week is the Super High Roller Bowl!

The Super High Roller Bowl is the next stop on the PokerGO Tour.
Although the World Series of Poker is just around the horizon, there is still one more PokerGO Tour event to come. The $300,000 Super High Roller Bowl will take place from September 27 to 30.
The tournament could attract a strong field of big-name athletes once again. Addamo has already said that he will be on the field.
Online pro from Poland Wiktor Malinowski took home $3.7 million at the SHRB Europe Main Event in North Cyprus in August. Justin Bonomo of partypoker won the $102,000 SHRB Online for $1.8 million in 2020.
